Happy Turkey Day!

YAY TURKEY! Char & Mike hosted another wonderful Thanksgiving feast - complete with turkey, dressing, plenty of mashed potatos for the competing Kellogg boys, and veggies galore. We also had Eric's favorite jello salad and Sue's yummy sweet potatos. And who can forget the rave reviews my pies got? I think I'll be making Rick & Sue cherry pies every year from this day forward!

Captain Jack

Little Jack can't help but steal the show at every family gathering! This was at Aunt Laurie's birthday - hiding under mom's legs and eating ice cream directly from the scooper!

Aunt Laurie's B-Day!

Miss Laurie (Eric's step-dad's sister) had a birthday brunch at Brad & Laura Kellog's house on Sunday. Sue's egg casserole was to die for and Laura's made her infamous potatoes. YUM.

In Memory of Daisy Mae

Miss Daisy Mae was 8 years old when she passed away of kidney failure yesterday. She was Brenna's mother's cat since she was 7 months old. She was such a great little kitty that was, of course, very entertaining. At my mother's 50th birthday party, she was "hunting pawwots" (a parrot pinata Mike bought mom for the festivities). Oh how she loved to hunt things!!! We will miss her dearly. May Daisy rest peacefully in kitty heaven where I'm positive there are millions of piles of warm folded laundry to nap on.

Eric's Birthday

Another October birthday! Eric celebrated his 26th birthday on October 26th. Sue threw a big bash at her house and Eric got himself a new MP3 player with some of his many gift certificates afterwards - yay Birthdays!

The California Coast

While in California celebrating mom's birthday - we had to swing by Bodega Bay for a picnic. It was in the very high 70's in October on the Northern California Coast. What a GREAT day for a picnic!!!

October Fun

This year - Sue and I decided to hit the corn mazes and see what all the Colorado Corn Maze fuss was about. It was quite an adventure - and we had a blast blazing through the corn in pursuit of the 'hole punches' to complete two mazes.
