Yep - we're pregnant ALREADY!
Our "Bumble Bee" is due on July 17th, 2007,
which will also be Brenna's sister's Birthday! (Auntie Jen)
For those of you that are trying to do the math in your head,
we conceived in late October,
about a month and a half AFTER the wedding!!! Hahaha.
This ultrasound was taken at 12 weeks (01/02/07)
The baby has a dotted line going from his rump to his head.
The white line along the baby's back is the spine.
You can also see some teeth - they look like white spots
under the dotted line.
("His" doesn't mean anything -
we won't know the baby's sex until late February.)
There were two psychics in the family.
Sara Kellogg - our sister-in-law and
mother of 2 - guessed before it was announced by
noticing Brenna's sheer exhaustion Christmas weekend.
Marissa McMullin - Brenna's StepMom - spent
1 hour with Brenna in early November and called Brenna's dad with
"I think your daughter's pregnant" news.
Brenna was pregnant - but she didn't know it yet!
How did Marissa know before I did? It's a mystery!
Luckily - Dad and Marissa both forgot about that phone call
until we made our big Christmas morning announcement.
Get ready for a party!
We'll be having some kind of get together with
family & friends in late February / early March to open
the 'baby's sex' envelope so that we'll know if we need pink or blue!
(In perfectly dramatic fashion, just like all of Brenna's life happenings)
I hope to see most of the Coloradoans there!
