Happy New Year!!!

Yuk! This was our vehicle after the road trip.

OK, so we are officially a "fly and buy" family from now on. We won't drive more than 4 hours with children ever again! The way home was plauged with the same fortunes as the way there was. We avoided Wyoming by going south at Salt Lake City to I-70. But then they went and closed I-70 because of... you guessed it... blowing snow. So our 2 day road trip turned into a 3 day road trip yet again, only this time, Brenna and Logan both had a horrible horrible cold the whole way... ugh... and on top of it all, we had to spend New Year's Eve in a hotel room about 3 hours from home in the bathroom with the hot water steaming up our sinuses! (Not that we were well enough to have been partying anyway) So, all in all, the road trip wasn't the best idea. And Auntie Jen couldv'e told you that last June.
